Mango trees have a symmetrical, rounded canopy with a thick trunk and smooth, grayish-brown bark. The leaves are glossy, dark green, and arranged alternately on the branches. The tree produces small, fragrant, yellow or reddish flowers that are pollinated by insects, mainly bees. These flowers give way to the mango fruit, which is large, oval-shaped, and varies in color from green to yellow, orange, or red, depending on the variety.
